There are some of the common symptoms of diabetes, which include increased urination, fatigue, weight loss (even though eating more), cut and bruises, excessive thirst and blurred vision. Also, it is caused not only by eating more of sugar-filled foods but also due to high stress. Moreover, it is also a genetic disease.

Although, there are various treatments available to control diabetes or your blood sugar level, here are some of the home remedies for diabetes.

Bitter Gourd

Bitter Gourd: It is helpful in controlling blood sugar level as it is rich in plant insulin-polypeptide-P. Also, it contains 2 important compounds i.e. charatin and momordicin, that are key ingredients to control diabetes. Also, it influences glucose metabolism all over the body. It prevents insulin resistance; therefore, useful in treating both Type 1 and 2 diabetes.

Tips: Drink the juice of bitter gourd on an empty stomach, every morning. Remove the seeds of 2-3 bitter gourds, and use a juicer to extract the juice. Add some water to it and then drink it. You can also add one meal, made of bitter gourd, in your daily diet.
